How to Fix Black Screen to Overwatch Issue

Overwatch is a popular team game developed by Blizzard Entertainment and available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows and Nintendo Switch. The team must work together to secure and protect the control points on the card or to accompany the load on the card for a certain period of time. Although it is a pretty solid game, there are cases where there might be some problems that we are going to solve today. In this last part of our series of troubleshooting articles, we look at the problem with the black screen in the Monitoring section.

How to fix the black screen in Surveillance

Before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps below, it is best to restart your computer. This action updates the operating system and temporarily deletes damaged data that may be causing the problem.

Several factors can cause this particular problem, ranging from misconfigured settings to corrupted caches. Here are the steps that need to be taken to solve the problem.

Attempt to change the parameters of set

There are cases where the game settings have not been configured correctly, which can lead to this problem.

  • Open the Gefors experiment.
  • Click on Games and select Watch on the left.
  • Click on the Customize icon.
  • Select the endless window in the Display mode option.

Try to scan and recover game files

One of the factors that can cause this problem is a corrupt game file. If he’s the culprit, you need to retrieve the file(s).

  • Open the Blizzard client and click on the Games button.
  • Click on the Monitoring icon in the right box.
  • Click on the Options button in the top left corner.
  • Select Scan and Restore from the list of available options.
  • Click the Start Scan button when prompted.
  • The start-up process may take some time.
  • When you’re done, try to play your game.

Clear the game cache

Damaged game data in the cache can cause this problem. You can remove the lid to see if this is the cause of the problem.

  • Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
  • Click on the Details button to open the detailed version of the program.
  • If you are using agent.exe or the Blizzard update client on the Process tab, select it and click the Stop Process button at the bottom of the program.
  • Now press the Windows + R key to open the run request.
  • Enter %Program Data% and press Enter.
  • Delete the Blizzard Entertainment folder.
  • Restart the Blizzard client and start the game.

Disable DVR display

With a gaming DVR you can record the progress of the game, which can be a great way to share it, but sometimes it can cause the images to fail, which usually leads to this problem.

  • Open the Start menu and click on the Settings icon.
  • Click on Games
  • In the sidebar, select Playbar.
  • Deactivate all options it contains.
  • Select the DVR game
  • Disable all options in this one
  • In the same way, select True Play and turn it off.
  • Start your game.

Trying to remove tools from Battle.net

Sometimes the problem can be caused by an outdated or corrupted Blizzard Battle.net desktop application. Try deleting the Battle.net files. The Blizzard customer will then automatically reinstall them.

  • Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
  • Click on the Details button to open the detailed version of the program.
  • If you are using agent.exe or the Blizzard update client on the Process tab, select it and click the Stop Process button at the bottom of the program.
  • Press Windows +R key to open the run request.
  • Enter C:\ProgramData Press the Enter key in the field that opens.
  • Delete the Battle.net folder.
  • Blizzard Customer Management
