How to Fix Audio Services Not Responding to Windows 10 Issue

If you do not hear anything through your computer’s speakers, you may experience problems with audio services that are not responding in Windows 10. This problem usually occurs when the audio device is not responding. This is a fairly common problem, with a few known and effective problem-solving steps.

Before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps below, it is best to restart your computer. This action updates the operating system and temporarily deletes damaged data that may be causing the problem.

Try restarting audio services

The first thing we have to do in this case is restart the audio service. This procedure updates the audio service and generally solves the problem.

  • Press Windows + R, enter services.mscand press Enter.
